Credits and bonuses, explained
Three kinds of balance can show up in your account. Here is what each one is, what it pays for and how you get it.
Transfer credit
Prepaid money in your account.
- What it's for
- Pays for one-time transfers (for example a single 20 GB or 50 GB send) without entering a card each time.
- How to get it
- Top up with a card, or receive it as a gift from our team. It never expires.
SMS credits
One credit = one text message with a verification code sent to someone you share files with.
- What it's for
- Protects a transfer so the recipient must also enter a code sent to their phone before downloading.
- How to get it
- Your plan may include some every month; you can buy more packs, or receive them from our team. Bought credits never expire; the monthly ones reset on the 1st.
Bonuses
Extras added to your account: more storage, bigger transfers, longer link life or a free month of a better plan.

Questions about pricing
Is the free plan really end-to-end encrypted?
Yes. Encryption is the same on every plan. Plans differ only in size limits, expiry and extra controls.
How do one-time transfers work?
Pick your files, choose the one-time option and pay by card. No account needed; the receipt and private manage link go to your email.
Can I cancel a subscription?
Any time from Account → Billing, in two clicks. You keep everything you paid for until the end of the period.
Monthly plan or pay once?
If you send big files every week, a monthly plan is cheaper and adds storage, statistics and longer links. If you only need one large transfer now and then, pay once for that transfer.
What is credit?
Signed-in users can add credit ($5 to $50) and use it to pay for single large transfers in one click, without entering a card each time.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrades apply right away and you only pay the difference for the rest of the period. Downgrades apply at the end of the period.
What are extra secure downloads?
You list who may download (phone numbers or e-mail addresses). Whoever opens the link types their number or address and gets a one-time code; only with that code can they download. Add a password as well for the highest protection. Included in paid plans, or with SMS credits; each SMS code uses one credit, e-mail codes are free.
