Terms of service

Draft: to be reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

Using theTransfer

You may use theTransfer to send files you have the right to share. You are responsible for the content you upload and for keeping your links and passwords safe.

Not allowed

  • Child sexual abuse material, which we report to the competent authorities.
  • Malware, phishing, or content that is illegal where you or the recipient are.
  • Content that infringes intellectual property rights.
  • Attempts to overload, probe or bypass the limits of the service.

We may disable links, delete files and suspend accounts that break these rules. When we act on a report, we tell the uploader why (statement of reasons) and how to contest the decision.

Files are end-to-end encrypted. We don’t have the keys and cannot recover files if a link or password is lost.

Plans and payments

Limits for each plan are shown on the pricing page and enforced by the service. One-time transfers are activated when payment clears. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you keep your plan until the end of the paid period.

Availability

We aim for high availability but provide the service “as is”. Keep your own copies of important files: a transfer is a delivery, not a backup.

Changes

We’ll announce material changes to these terms before they take effect.
